Plunkett Foundation

Tourism Attractiveness
Alongside promoting and supporting the development of co-operatives, Plunkett has a unique historical archive containing key documents related to the development of co-operatives in rural areas across the world. Therefore we receive visitors from a range of countries to better understand rural co-operatives, as well as historical researchers interested in Plunkett's founder Sir Horace Plunkett, his network, and the work of the Plunkett Foundation.
How we promote cooperatives’ values and culture
Plunkett promotes co-operatives to rural communities daily, as a way of responding to the challenges they face. We consistently relate current issues to historical co-operative movements and their impact on rural lives.
